You are about to sponsor a student with a disability at EPES in Chnaniir, Lebanon, and we sincerely thank you for your support.
More precisely, how does the sponsorship program work?
We will match you with a student in need.
The sponsorship normally ends when the student completes their studies at EPES. However, you are free to end your sponsorship at any time by sending us an email at manal.abouaoun@epes-lb.org. If possible, we kindly ask you to inform us a little in advance so we can find another sponsor for your student.
EPES will immediately inform the sponsor if the student’s schooling ends or is interrupted (e.g. the student has completed their studies at EPES or has stopped attending school, etc.).
Once the student has completed their program, EPES may offer you a new student if you wish to continue your support of another student.
Your donations will be used exclusively to fund the student’s education in full. Families and students will not receive direct cash donations; EPES will pay all covered expenses directly.
You will receive, via email from EPES, a letter from the student each quarter, along with updates from the school. Depending on the student’s abilities, this letter may include drawings, text, or photos.
All communication will be handled in advance by EPES. EPES will also take care of translation if necessary.
Contact between students and their sponsors will always be mediated by EPES.
You agree not to share any content or photos received from EPES with third parties in any way, as these remain strictly private.
Finally, donations are collected by the Chemin Neuf Community in France and fully transferred to EPES (note: EPES is administered by the Chemin Neuf Community in Lebanon). These donations are eligible for the issuance of a tax receipt allowing tax deductions.
If you need a tax receipt for a country other than France, please specify this in the “Note” field under “3 – My Sponsorship”. We are able to issue tax receipts if you reside in the following countries: England, Spain, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, and Canada.
